meditation AND Grief WORK

for individuals and organizations

Practical Support for Life’s Difficult and Busy MomentS

Life brings loss, change, stress, and plenty of distractions. You don’t have to navigate all of it alone.

I offer compassionate grief coaching and practical meditation instruction to help people meet everyday life with greater calm, clarity, and support. Whether you’re seeking guidance for yourself or creating a more caring workplace, we’ll begin where you are.

Individual Support

A supportive place to pause, reflect, and move forward

Through one-on-one grief coaching or meditation coaching, you’ll receive personalized guidance shaped around your needs and your life.

Grief coaching offers a compassionate space to explore loss and change without pressure to “move on” or follow a particular timeline. Meditation coaching helps you develop a realistic, sustainable practice—even if your mind is busy and your schedule is busier.

Individual sessions are available virtually, wherever you are.

Workplace Support

Caring for the people behind the work

Organizations are made up of people, and people experience grief, stress, and change. I offer grief support and approachable meditation programs that help employees feel supported and develop practical tools for navigating challenging moments.

Options include individual employee support, group conversations, manager guidance, meditation workshops, guided sessions, and customized workplace programs. Virtual programs are available anywhere, with in-person offerings throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

KIRSTEN NORR, MA, LPC SHE/HER/HERS

Pronounced K-EAR-STEN

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and it will always be considered my home. I went to college for psychology but took a detour working for over 15 years in documentary film and television production. A fulfilling and exciting career, there was always something pulling me towards this work. Between projects that took me all over the world, I spent time teaching English at a Buddhist monastery in Nepal which sparked my interest in Buddhist philosophies. This became a catalyst to return to a profession where I can provide support for people in their journeys of emotional growth and well being.

Traveling to Colorado, I attended Naropa University where I got my Master’s in Contemplative Psychotherapy & Buddhist Psychology as well as my meditation instructor certification. I currently reside in the Bay Area, still work with clients remotely in Colorado and all over the country. In addition to meditation and grief work, I work as a Licensed Professional Counselor; you can find more about my therapy work at kirstennorrtherapy.com.
